Bell announces CONEXPO raffle winner
CONEXPO 2014, held in Las Vegas, USA in early March, was a huge success for Bell Equipment due to the exposure the company received from its exhibit. Someone else who counts it as a success is George Heines, who is now $25 000 better off for having visited the Bell stand.
George visited the Bell stand on the Wednesday morning of the exhibition, at the invitation of Bell Trucks America. Without much confidence in being a winner, he entered the free competition, where Bell offered the prize of a brand new Mercedes Benz GLK 250 BlueTEC SUV or a cash prize of $25 000.
So you can imagine his surprise when he was contacted by Bell this week to be told that his entry had been drawn from the more than 2 200 entries that were received. Amazed at his good fortune he travelled from Conroe, Texas to BTA's offices in Houston, Texas to receive his prize.
For George, a Project Manager for excavation company, Lecon, Inc based out of Conroe, Texas, making the decision to take the cash prize of $25,000 rather than the Mercedes SUV was an easy one. "I will always feel more comfortable in my big V8 pickup, than in the classy Mercedes SUV," he says.
